Snow Day!!! =D

Well I was suppose to be doing this in class today but because of the 16 or more inches of snow outside, there was no school today. But I like blogging form home better anyway. I can listen to my iPod full blast while i do it =P Anyway, so last class we had a type of meeting in a sense with the leaders from the World Wide Workshop Foundation. We talked with them over the phone and explained to them our paper prototype and told then about our games ideas. They gave us some really good suggestions back and some info about things we might want to research on. The info they gave us i think will definitely come in handy. Overall I think that our game idea is really starting to take shape, if we could only figure out what to do about the against side. Hopefully that will start to become a little more clear soon. Finally!

So guess what! Our paper prototype is now up on our wiki! whoo! It is pretty much completed, we just didnt have our control or help screen up yet but who needs those anyway right? Anywho, i think our game is going to be really awesome. I like the ideas we are coming up with and I think they are all going to come together very nicely. For today we are going to work on our teams wiki and start assigning roles for who to do what in the building process of the game. After we get this done I think we will be well on our way to creating a pretty awesome game =]

Paper Prototyping

So my team has started working on our paper prototyping of our game. We have drawn our title screen, our three loading screen, and two of our game play screen. Plus a small explosion scene! I think it looks really awesome so far! I'm really excited about my teams game. All of our ideas seem to be coming along very well. I can't wait till we get to start putting our actual game together! =]

Uh oh

So it seems like we are falling behind a little. I have to say I think I've done a decent job with blogging, I just need to get up to date with the wiki. Like the learning log for one. I always forget to do that thing!! Plus I'm sure theres some other stuff on there somewhere I've missed doing. I plan on going through today and fixing all that stuff. Maybe do some more personalizing of my wiki too cuz right now its a little dull. I plan to start blogging more as well. Another thing I really haven't done is check out other peoples blogs and wikis. Thats also the plan for today. Maybe I can find a cool blog or wiki out there and send them a comment or something, get in on the blogosphere, whoo! Till next time, later gator

Is there such a thing?

Does anyone know if there is such a thing as like an online code list? Somewhere you can go to find a code for just about anything? I liked to mess around some more with my bunny mini game just for fun but I dont know any codes and I know theres no way i could make one up myself. If anyone knows of such a website or list, please leave a comment with a link or some info. Thanks in advance!

Game Idea

Well my team has come up with the idea of doing a game about mountaintop removal, aka MTR. I really didnt know much about this subject until we decided to use it for our game but i have found out a lot of interesting info. Our game is going to teach players how much damage is caused by MTR and what kind of effect it has on nature and also people.

Teams!

We now officially have teams now! Whoo! My team is The Ultimate Avengers. Oh yeah, awesome team name! Anyway, were just getting started with our team stuff now, like deciding on a topic to build our game around. Right now I'm a little short on ideas in that department, but I'll try to come up with a few. Today we worked on a team logo. I have to say ours looks pretty awesome. Soon it will be up on the wiki, along with our other super hero "collage". I cant wait for us to start making our game soon! Well thats all for now, back to waiting till the next B day.
